4x4 4K 18Gbps HDMI Matrix with Audio De-Embedding
The 4x4 4K HDMI Matrix Switcher PT-MA-HD44M distributes four HDMI 2.0 input signals independently to four HDMI outputs with full 18Gbps bandwidth for resolutions up to 4K@60Hz (4:4:4) including HDCP 2.2. The audio signal of each input can be de-embedded both as analog (stereo, Phoenix) and digital (S/PDIF, coax) signals to be forwarded to an audio system. The matrix switcher has a variety of control options, including front panel buttons or IR remote control (included) with an integrated LCD display. The remote control signals are received by an integrated or a remote IR receiver (3.5mm, included). Additionally, the matrix can be controlled and configured via RS232 or via IP using an extensive web GUI accessible from any web browser. The very compact housing (ca. 1/2 rack width) can also be installed in a concealed location thanks to the included remote control capabilities.
PureTools - Professional Electronic Products for Commercial Applications
The PT-MA-HD44M 4x4 4K Matrix Switcher combines a huge range of functions in an extremely small physical space. Four HDMI inputs can be switched independently to four outputs - with full HDMI v2.0 bandwidth up to 18Gbps for resolutions up to 4K@60 (4:4:4). It supports all standards of the HDMI v2.0 specification such as HDR10, HLG, Dolby Vision and HDCP 2.2.To integrate the matrix switcher into an existing or planned audio system, it offers two options for separate audio de-embedding from each of the four HDMI inputs. An analog stereo signal can be output and passed on via Phoenix 3-pin connector. Digital audio formats such as PCM 2.0, LPCM 5.1 / 7.1 as well as Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio can be fed directly to the audio system via coaxial S/PDIF outputs.A generous LCD display on the front panel shows all relevant settings and configurations at a glance. The extensive menu settings can be accessed via remote control or front panel buttons. Here, the audio and video settings for each individual channel including EDID configuration, audio mode and audio de-embedding can be adjusted, among other things. Up to eight input / output presets can also be stored and recalled in this menu. Also, all system settings, from RS232 baud rate to DHCP network configuration and even reboot and reset are available from this menu.In addition to direct switching and menu navigation, the remote control also offers various convenient functions, such as HDMI audio muting, a mirror function in which each input is routed directly to the corresponding output, or a so-called "All" function in which a specific input is routed to all outputs simultaneously. Also the configuration of the matrix can be set up using the remote control or front panel buttons. To receive the IR signals from the remote control, an integrated IR eye is available on the front panel as well as a breakout connector (3.5mm jack) to connect a wired IR receiver, which is included in the delivery. In addition to manual operation, the matrix can also be controlled by serial RS232 (3-pin Phoenix). Precise instructions on how to use the RS232 interface are included in the comprehensive user manual. Via RJ45 Ethernet connection, the matrix switcher can also be integrated into a network and then controlled from any other network device, such as a PC or smartphone. For this purpose, a comprehensive web GUI is available, which can be accessed from any browser via the IP address of the matrix switcher. In the web GUI itself, all the configurations and settings that are available for direct control via the LCD display can be applied as well. Thanks to this versatile external operability, a concealed installation of the matrix switcher is also possible without any loss of functionality. The firmware of the matrix switcher can also be updated via RS232.The very compact and unobtrusive housing with an overall size of just 216.2 x 128.5 x 34 mm occupies only half a rack width during installation and weighs less than half a kilogram (470g). This allows the matrix switcher to be installed and operated invisibly and in the tightest of spaces, e.g. in an AV rack in a server room or in a lowboard. A screwable power connector for safe integration is also provided.PureTools - Professional Electronic Products for Commercial ApplicationsThe PureTools product line is made up of high-quality audio / video electronic products such as matrices, switchers, splitters, converters and extenders for commercial AV installations and applications.
